We warmly welcome you, or as we say in Czech, Ahoj, to the 12th European STAMP Workshop and Conference<\/b>, taking place for the first time in Prague, Czech Republic, in April 2026.<\/p>

The aim of the conference is to foster innovation and knowledge exchange in the field of the Systems-Theoretic Accident Model and Processes (STAMP) and its associated methods.<\/p>

STAMP is a model based on systems theory and systems thinking. It\u00a0addresses safety and cybersecurity in complex sociotechnical systems, including software, human decision-making, organizational design, and safety culture.<\/p>

STAMP-based methods, such as STPA, CAST, STPA-Sec, and others, are widely applied across industries such as aviation, space technologies, artificial intelligence, healthcare and related technologies, defense, automotive, rail, chemical processing, oil and gas, and occupational safety.<\/p>

As an accident causality model, STAMP integrates contributing factors across all levels of system design and operation. It represents a paradigm shift from traditional accident models: instead of viewing accidents as linear chains of events, STAMP sees them as emerging from complex interactions within a\u00a0system. This holistic perspective makes it highly relevant for safety professionals working with today\u2019s complex and interconnected technologies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
