History

The conference dates to 1999, when it was first organized by the CTU in Prague, in cooperation with Brno University of Technology and University of Žilina. The auspices were shared among the conference partners and each year, it was chaired by one of them. In 2017, when the conference was organized by the Department of Air Transport, CTU in Prague, we spent efforts for the conference to meet quality and proceedings publication standards that are accepted by Scopus citation database. From 2020, the conference is organized exclusively by the Department of Air Transport, CTU in Prague, every other year. Because conferences participation is to large extent conditioned by their indexation in prestigious citation databases, from 2020 the conference has obtained IEEE technical sponsorship. We do our best to maintain conference quality and continuity and we believe this will be achieved during the next years.
